Despite it being cold the cycling in hasn't been too bad, I have had to use my upright bike as I am not able to go very fast because of the snow, ice and traffic. It has made me quite exited about getting a Trice QNT this year, around the autumn. Hopefully you are allowed to buy a second bike on the Cycle scheme, if not, I may buy it sooner so I can use it in the summer. They look like they have changed the folding method to a 45° hinge, which seems to allow the back wheel to stay attached when folded, this may allow for a future modification to a NuVinci at the back with a 13 cog and a Schlumpf at the front with a 42 cog. |

After a few cold mornings, I have been using my overshoes (from Amazon), and they do the job pretty well, quite snug so you may need a size larger than your normal shoe, but apart from that, pretty good all round. |

It would appear that cycling is the the best mode of transport, I had a much nicer journey in today on my bike than I did yesterday when I drove. I would have been happier on the bike yesterday. I must say that this weather improves car users manners towards bikes, either that or they are just going slower for their own safety, I'll let you decide.  |

I have been back riding to work for a few weeks now and the world is as it should be. I find cycling in early gives me some uninterrupted time to get on with things before the melee of the day begins. Lovely ride in this morning, I have been extremely lucky with the weather, but I fully expect to get soaked one day this week! I have reverted back to the bike bins, I just find them convenient and quick to load up/unload the bike, so if you know anyone who wants a second hand but hardly used Radical Design Rack Bag Medium in Red, let me know. That is all for know as the day is starting, Is it unfair to leave my office light off until 8am? |
