After what seems like an age of being sidelined due to not feeling well I finally made it back onto the bike today.  Whilst I have obviously lost some speed during the time away, the ride in was great, and I have decided to use the Bikebins on a daily basis.

I have been riding in to work on my Nazca Fiero for a couple of days now, and I am getting the hang of starting and stopping and can deal with traffic more confidently than my first couple of rides.

I did the cycle to work ride but did not go via the Fallowfield loop, but I think I will have another go at it now I am getting better at starting and stopping.

This is me and my machine ...

I am now using the Fallowfield loop again to ride to work, starting and stopping is getting easier and easier and more natural and my slow speed stability is also coming along.

I am still learning and with negotiating the bike styles and although I am slow through them, I only have to get of the bike for a couple of them.

I am impressed with the SON hub lighting as you can hardly tell it is on in terms of pedaling, but the light is good and bright.

Last Saturday I took John to London to pick up his new bike, nice trip down, but terrible trip back with the M6 providing our slow moving scenery for hour...

...10 hours on the road in one day is a long time Frown
